How long will it take for my order to be dispatched?

All orders are carefully handmade and dispatched within 5-7 business days of being placed.

During busy periods, dispatch times may be slightly longer, but we will always do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible!
How much is shipping?
We offer flat-rate shipping Australia-wide:
  • Standard Shipping: $9.50
  • Express Shipping: $12.00
Orders over $99 ship free within Australia.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We offer free Standard Shipping on all domestic Australian orders over $99.
How long will delivery take?
We ship all orders via Australia Post.

Delivery times vary depending on your location:
  • Standard Shipping: approximately 2-10 business days
  • Express Shipping: typically 1-4 business days
Please note that delivery times are estimates only, and remote areas may experience longer transit times. We recommend that you track the delivery of your order with AusPost – your tracking number can be found in your shipping confirmation email. 
How can I track my order?
You can track your order with Australia Post or the Shop app.

Your shipping confirmation email includes both your Australia Post tracking number and a link to track with the Shop app.

What happens if my order is lost or delayed?
If your order is lost or delayed, or there’s another issue with the delivery of your order, please contact us so we can lodge an investigation with Australia Post.

We recommend tracking the delivery of your order closely with Australia Post for relevant updates on any disruptions or processing delays.

If your tracking confirms that your order has been delivered, but you can’t locate the parcel, we recommend first checking your property or with neighbours in case it has been left outside or delivered to the wrong address before reaching out. Please note, we cannot offer compensation for items that are lost or stolen after Australia Post has confirmed they have delivered your order.

Do you offer local pick-up?
Yes! Local collection is available from Carine, Western Australia.

Simply select Pickup as your Delivery option at checkout. 

You'll receive an email with collection details, including address, once your order is ready to collect (usually within 5-7 business days).
Can I send my order as a gift?
Absolutely! Many of our pieces are purchased as gifts. 

All orders are beautifully packaged and ready for gifting. 

If you'd like to include a personalised message, please leave a note at checkout, and we'll happily include it with your order.

Absolutely! Many of our pieces can be customised to suit your style, colour preferences, or special occasion.

If you have something specific in mind, please contact us via our enquiry form or email, and we'll be happy to discuss the possibilities!

Please note that custom-made pieces are created specifically for you and cannot be returned for a change of mind.

What materials are Pop & Crackle pieces made from?

Our jewellery is thoughtfully handmade using a range of high-quality materials, including polymer clay, semi-precious stones, glass beads, freshwater pearls, stainless and/or surgical steel, and gold- and sterling silver-plated findings.

As each piece is handmade, slight variations may occur, making every item uniquely yours.
Are all Pop & Crackle pieces handmade?
Yes! Every Pop & Crackle piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted, with love and care, in Perth, Western Australia.

Because each item is individually handmade, no two pieces are ever exactly the same. We believe these small variations are part of what makes Pop & Crackle’s handmade jewellery so special!
Will my piece look exactly like the product photos?
We do our best to accurately photograph and represent every item on our website.

As many of our pieces are handmade and may feature natural materials, such as freshwater pearls, shells, stones, or handcrafted clay components, slight variations in colour, shape, pattern, and texture may occur. These natural differences make each piece unique and are not considered faults.

Please note that colours may also appear slightly different depending on your screen settings and device.
Is your jewellery hypoallergenic & suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes!

We work with hypoallergenic metals, including surgical stainless steel, and sterling silver- and gold-plating to minimise skin irritation – making our jewellery suitable for most people with sensitive skin or ears.

While we carefully select quality materials, sensitivities can vary from person to person. If you have specific allergies or concerns, please feel free to contact us before purchasing.
What does tarnish-resistant mean?
Tarnishing refers to the natural discolouration process of jewellery with exposure to oxygen (oxidisation), moisture, chemicals, or sweat. 

Tarnish-resistant jewellery is designed to slow this process, helping it better withstand everyday wear and maintain its shine for longer. 

However, like all jewellery, it still benefits from love and care!
Is your jewellery waterproof?
No – our jewellery is water-resistant, not waterproof. 

Water-resistant jewellery is designed to withstand rapid tarnishing with everyday wear (think: washing your hands or dishes, quick swims, and the odd splash).

To help keep your pieces poppin' for years to come, we recommend removing them before swimming, showering, bathing, exercising, or spending extended time in water.
How should I care for my Pop & Crackle pieces?
Each Pop & Crackle piece is unique and handmade. The delicate nature of our jewellery means it should be cared for with loving kindness.

To keep your jewellery looking beautiful for years to come:
  • Store pieces in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight – a board, soft pouch, or box with compartments will help to avoid scratching/tangling and preserve their finish
  • Store dangle earrings hanging or flat to help maintain their shape
  • Take care when putting on or taking off pieces to prevent any accidental damage
  • Avoid exposure to perfumes, lotions, hairsprays, harsh cleaning products, chlorine, and other chemicals
  • Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, exercising, or sleeping
  • Clean gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth or baby wipe – or a jewellery polishing cloth for sterling silver and gold pieces – as required
  • Never submerge your jewellery in water or cleaning chemicals
With proper care, your Pop & Crackle pieces will maintain their charm and remain wearable for many years.

Returns & Exchanges

Can I return my order?

For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on earrings for a change of mind.

Custom-made orders are non-refundable as they are created specifically to your requirements.

If you believe your item has a manufacturing fault, please contact us, and we will work with you to find a suitable solution.

Customer satisfaction is incredibly important to us, and we will always do our best to help!
What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?
We take great pride in the quality of our products, and take great care when packaging every Pop & Crackle order.
 
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us via email within 7 days of receiving your order and provide:
  • a detailed explanation of the damage or manufacturing fault
  • your order number
  • clear photographs of the item, packaging, and the issue you've experienced
We'll assess each claim individually and, where a genuine fault or transit damage is confirmed, we'll work with you to arrange a replacement, repair, refund, or other resolution where appropriate.
